Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what information we collect when you visit Wingdings Translator, what we do with it, and what choices you have. By using the site, you agree to what is described here.
Your text never leaves your device
Our translator works entirely in your web browser. Whatever you type or paste gets converted on your own device. It is never sent to our servers and never stored anywhere. We cannot see your messages, and we have no way to get them back. Your secret notes and classroom puzzles stay yours.
What we collect
We collect as little as possible. There is no account and no sign up, so we never ask for your name or email. Like most websites, though, we do get some technical details automatically when you visit:
- Log data like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visit, used for security and basic diagnostics
- Anonymous, grouped analytics that show us which features people use
- Cookies for basic site functions and advertising, explained below
Cookies and ads
We use cookies for simple things like remembering your display settings. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on your past visits to this and other sites. Google uses these advertising cookies so it and its partners can show you relevant ads.
You can turn off personalized ads in your Google Ads Settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, though some parts of the site might not work as well. Our Advertising Policy has more detail.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, fix, or delete personal information we hold about you. Since we collect almost nothing and keep no account data, there is usually nothing tied to you at all. If you think we have information about you, or you want to use one of these rights, reach out through our Contact Us page and we will respond quickly.
Third parties
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. If the site ever embeds content from other websites, like videos or social widgets, that content follows their privacy rules, not ours.
Kids and privacy
This is a general audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent and think your child shared personal information with us, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. The newest version will be posted here with a new revision date. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the updated policy.
Questions
Questions about this policy or how we handle data? Reach us through the Contact Us page. We take privacy questions seriously and try to reply within two business days.
